AbstractMyanmar is the country, which is developing with the move at brisk pace and developm ent are from the every aspects of the country. New construction projects are constructing and old one are rehabilitating to catch with the socio - economic development, as construction can also give benefits to the socio - economic development. Moreover, forei gn investors are investing in the development of infrastructure construction , there has a lot of infrastructure construction projects in the country. However, government have to select wisely among the projects to construct. Contrastingly, construction pro jects also add the impacts to the environment such as pollution, decreasing of the non - renewable natural resources and changes to the natural ecology systems. Therefore, participants in the construction industry need to improve the existing construction pr actice to the sustainable construction and maintain the constructed infrastructure into resilient way. This research finding is the present practice of the infrastructure construction dealing with the socio - economic aspect and environmental consideration s in the developing of the infrastructure project to comply with sustainable concept , and the current infrastructure construction practice of consideration for the resilience of infrastructure . Quantitative survey and case study approaches are used to co llect the data for the research analysis. Quantitative survey is to know the sustainable construction practice and resilience practice of the infrastructure construction industry. Case study approach is to get the in - depth understanding of the present mech anisms upon the practice. The research finding can make a conclusion as sustainable construction concept was unfamiliar with the country and construction project were also not giving enough attention on the environmental and socio - economic impacts from t he public side though the foreign investor request to conduct EIA and feasibility studies. Moreover, project vulnerability resistance were not given specific concerned despite had experience with the disasters.
