| Abstract | Social media is one of the latest technological communication in construction industry. And now, it is becoming popular day by day, particularly in India. There are many uses of social media which can be applied for different purposes. In India, many construction companies are successfully using the social media. As communication is one of the important factor, therefore social media have to be used efficiently. According to the Korzynski (2014),” the success of a communication depends upon the how he uses the internal social networking in order to reach a diverse workforce in real time”. This study is quantitative approach to investigate the utilization of social media and the effect of social media on organization outcomes (customer relations, innovation for improvement, faster decision making and problem solving, project success.) By analyzing of the collected data, the utilization of social media in Indian construction companies is verified and effectiveness of social media utilization is analyzed by weighting with the literature reviews. |
