Abstract | Tunnel construction in dense popuattion urban area has been increased, and it will be continued in the future. This study deals with the problem of pile response due to the tunneling nearby. Plaxis 3D Tunnel was used to simulate the condition of soft soil in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore and Netherlands. The sets of parametric studiees were made analysis of tunnel-single pile interaction was made by varying pile length and different stage of construction. For the group pile analysis, the group of piles existing alongside the tunnel construction, and the group of piles next to the tunnel were analyzed. All the analysis were accomplished by using Hardening soil constitutive models which parameters were taken from some literature. The results were presented as the comparison of pile behavior in each contries soil pile. Firstly, the result presented as the different of pile response by changing of pile length in all countries soil profiles. The lateral displacement of pile, axial force, and bending moent shows the significant changing by depth, whereas there is no considerable effect of tunneling on pile shear force. Moreover, the changing behavior of pile between constrution stage and finished construction. Finally, the resultof group pile analysis was compare to the single pile, in order to understand the group effect of pile. |
