AbstractWith the market downturn now affecting most of businesses, although the Siemens Water Technologies Department in Thailand has been successfully increased their business revenue in the past few years but other Siemens business were impacted. Both total order intake and the sales revenue for the year 2009 were seen at significant decline. So that all the business has to review and discussed more idea on how to overcome the situation to improve their business. One of the most recent topic discussed among the senior management team of Siemens - Industry Solution (IS) during their business conference in mid-November 2009 were on how to sustainably strengthen the position of IS as “Solution House” and to provide the right answer to the future challenges”. In similarlity, Siemens Water Technologies team has also need to develop the business strategies toward the way that they can maintain a sustainable profitability on their business. It is become part of their strategies to develop the Product and Service business rather than just keep the growth by its revenue volume with a few number of the projects. This is where the challenge come to all the regional hub of Siemens Water Technologies, and they have to bring up the topic for further discussion and development with all regional countries to find the way on how to become successfully implement this strategy into all their functional operation team. This is become part of the reason on this case research to study, understand and develop a suitable marketing development plan specifically for the Siemens Water Technologies team in Thailand.
