AbstractAnalyzing Resettlement Programme of Eindu to Kawkareik Road Improvement in Myanmar is the detailed presentation of how to fulfil the project affected persons by identifying the statistics of impacted type and severity. As Greater Mekong Sub-region East-West Economic Corridor Eindu to Kawkareik Road Improvement Project is implemented to improve trade and connectivity between Myanmar and Thailand, land acquisition and resettlement plan is vital in this project. The villagers near the project lost their assets such as residential land, agricultural land with crops, garden with trees, shops, kiosks and so on. Therefore, the government needs to implement compensation, relocation and income restoration for losses of their assets and livelihoods impacted. In this programme, there is lack of national policy but has comprehensive Asian Development Bank’s policy, so there are many gaps to implement the project. So, the project principles and entitlement matrix are provided by referring Asian Development Bank’s policy. In this process, the strength and weakness in each stage is analyzed and the solutions for problems are presented.
