Abstract | In the world today, there are competitive in every kind of business due to fluctuate of customer demands and rapid advances in technology. The companies need to create efficient organization structures that focus on cost-effective and highly producing functions. In order to achieve this, organizations are increasing turning to outsourcing. The underlying objectives of outsourcing are to enable business to focus on the core competencies, to gain access to capabilities and resources that are not available internally, and to increase business flexibility. However, there are also some disadvantages occurred with outsourcing that the firm should not overlook, including loss of control, difficulty to reverse decision, incurrence of hidden costs, and confidentiality issues. This report will provide the methodology and suitable technique for analyzing outsourcing decision. |
