Abstract | Technological strategy is a process, which establish actions and allocate necessary resources to implement long-term objective and strengthen the possible technological competencies of enterprises. This research proposes a technological strategic plan for developing clean power generation at the Vinacomin Power Corporation during the period from 2012 - 2020, base on analyzed business environment, Porter’s value chain, Porter’s Five forces model and other techniques, apply strategy analysis model is the SWOT, with the assessment the status of the technological strategy of the Vinacomin Power Corporation in the recent past. The strategy creates a roadmap for enterprises to achieve their goals. The technological strategy enables internal capabilities, including possible technological competences and mitigates risk, thereby improving efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. Vinacomin Power is a new member of the Vinacomin Group which under-take mining, processing and consumption of coal and mineral, and exported. So the technological strategy for Vinacomin Power is to develop clean power generation technologies, so, Vinacomin Power enhances its competitiveness and develops sustainably. |
