| Abstract | In the project management, time, cost/budget and quality are considered three critical factors in the success of a project. For state-owned enterprises as Vicem, quality management is precondition then all projects have to do. Meanwhile cost/budget is extremely important factor which indicates the effectiveness and success of the project.
Timely construction is commonly considered as the key success factor. Project time can be evaluated as the vital factor because it affects directly on the profit if time delay happens.
It’s difficult to solve clearly the cost, time situation in the cement projects. But with the purpose of limiting delay time, and cost overrun, there are many studies find out the causes which reduce effectiveness of New production line of Bim Son Cement Plant.
Therefore, improving the efficiency of this project provides good experience, practices and brings valuable lesson learns in project management of Vicem and Vietnam in general. |
