Abstract | Power Transmission Company N0.4 (PTC4), belong to National Power Transmission Corporation of Electricity Vietnam (EVN), is a state-owned company. According to the decision of Prime Minister of Social Republic of Vietnam on establishing of electricity market in the country to attract investment in power sector, reduce electrical price, contributing to support to the electricity sector more effectively. Inside, the power transmission sector is still monopoly. Since then Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV) have offered a draft of pricing methodology of power transmission charge that aims to ensure cost of power transmission activities can be recover at a reasonable level that is to ensure the recovery of capital, but still enough to pay for the management and operation of power grid in safety and reliability. Besides, this financial mechanism also aims to prevent increasing of the power transmission monopoly price that affect to electricity price. Therefore This research focus on assessment and recommendation for editing and additions to the this new financial mechanisms of ERAV will be apply for Power Transmission sector for more suitable and reasonable to meet the developmental needs of competitive electricity market in Vietnam. |
