AbstractThai Indo Kordsa is one of production plants of Kordsa Global is the world's largest supplier of industrial nylon and polyester yarn and tire cord fabric with an annual sales turnover of over US$ 882 million and operations in Europe, Asia Pacific, North and South America, Middle East and Africa. Thai Indo Kordsa, established as a cord fabric producer in 1990, performs its production operations on an area of 117,600 squaremeter in Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya and serves to leading tire producers of Asia Pcific. Thai Indo Kordsa has been integrated in Kordsa Global family in December 2006. After joined Kordsa Global in 2006, Thai Indo Kordsa was under integration process to Kordsa Global operational and financial systems. In many aspects financial integration completed very successfully. But, Thai Indo Kordsa Finance Department budgeting and forectasting performance is got good compare to Kordsa Global expectations. Besides, Thai Indo Kordsa Top Management and Sales Departmant have also some concerns reliability of budget numbers due to significant deviation actual versus budget. KG Finance Team evaluate all the entities budgeting performance actual versus budgeting deviation especially for the fixed cost. Unfortunately, Thai Indo Kordsa Finance Team planning and forecasting performance is not good. Uncertainties in the economy and industries are getting more; the need better management information to improve the quality of management decision in volatile business environment is getting more and more important. The reliability of the assumptions is very important for the top management. The objectives of the study are to examine the budgeting processes of Thai Indo Kordsa, and to analyze bottlenecks of the existing processes and implement new budgeting method to improve the process.
