Abstract | We have seen in recent decades that, ship building organizations from developed countries in Europe Countries, US are relocating their shipyards to developing countries such as Viet Nam, Indonesia, Brazil in order to gain benefits of low cost labour and taxable policies for FDI from those countries. Related to re-locating or building a new shipyard in developing countries, is change management strategies that organization applied in order to achieve their business strategies. The research uses approaches in Change management, Leadership that I have learnt during IMBA program. The literature review provides academic perspective and practical perspective will be provided by collected data at VARD Vung Tau Ship.There are tools and models from the literature review that are applied to analyse the real situation at VARD Vung Tau. The proposed framework help company to practice change management for sharping their business strategies. Based on the conceptual model and relevant theoretical understanding, the data and interview questions at VARD Vung Tau are used in the analysis of the change that applied in VARD Vung Tau. The empirical results and analysis assess problems faced when applying change management in the organization and how it could be successful Recommendation with lessons learnt from results could be useful for similar situations that any organization could use to organize the future change management. |
