AbstractThe estimated bearing pile capacity is very important in any projects. It will assess the quality of the project in safe or unsafe during period of service. However, the standards of API, Japan and Vietnam provide with different formulas for pile bearing capacity estimation. As different contractors or designers may use any of these standards. In Phu Quoc project, it is therefore helpful and also necessary to know them well and can compare between them. In addition, the analysis of the impact forces on the structure and pile-soil interaction are important in each project. As this analysis would give us the maximum axial force and pile displacement. Based on the results will be compared with the pile bearing capacity to make final conclusions. In this study, a comparison of pile capacity estimated by standards of American, Japan and Vietnam in Phu Quoc island was conducted for chart of base, shaft and total capacity in pile depth.
