AbstractCost reduction is a very important topic for all businesses in many countries. The organizations are trying to maximize their profits by reducing cost in the total measurements that are quantified by the top management. It is many times said that cost are just cost they come up and go like anything but I would say that cost come and never disappear as it would repeat in the sales of every quarter. Profit making is a very important task which is thought by many organizations. Cost reduction helps organization by boosting individual’s needs and organization’s performance and increase competitive advantage. Since the year 2001, NCT have been manufacturing in Thailand and base as Japan, they have no problem with the Thai staff that they have hired. Before year 2001, they were connected to local company in Thailand called Hanano Lubrika which was the sales agent for NCT in Japan. But after the separation in year 2001, NCT Japan has created its own manufacturing units in china and Thailand which was very useful for the NCT Japan to get more profit selling directly to the customers overseas and domestic. This research is mainly an interview which talks about the cost reduction activities in the company by the top management in the company. I have taken 3 interviews of top management and some evidence to show that cost reduction is being taken care of in NCT, Thailand. The main objective of my study is to answer the cost reduction techniques used in the organization mainly to fulfill the main aim of the company as being profit rising year by year. We will be evaluating each technique in the company by implementing them and seeing the cost reduce by at least 30%.
