Abstract | Vietnam is a developing country that has high growth rate in recent years. After changing to the market economy and joining WTO, the living standard is better and investment in infrastructure has been significant especially in highways, new road, new cities… This is the reason why the demand for automobile is increasing quickly, which is creating a potential market not only for automobile industry and also for other related industries. Therefore, many automobile manufacturers who decided to increase their investment capital in order to raise output to meet the increasingly high demand. Analysts have indicated that the scale of Vietnam’s market may reach one million cars a year, equal to the current market in Thailand. The fact that automobile manufacturers ‘owe’ clients 10,000 units, and that several manufacturers have ordered until the first quarter of 2008 shows that the car market is prospering. Hence, together with fast growth of automobile industry accompanied with fast development of servicing business. In this project, developing a new servicing business model such as building up a servicing system for car has a great potential. It is necessary to meet up with high demand from this market. |
