AbstractWith 4 principles business lines, VINACOMIN is the largest coal producer and the largest mineral mining company in Vietnam. VINACOMIN intend to expand their business in case of world economy has some significant signal. Study gets a review some theory of definition; classification; characteristics and the factors affect to fund debt financing. From these theory and current situation in funding debt financing, the study makes an SWOT analysis of VINACOMIN while funding in local and international debt market. Study summarizes the result of VINACOMIN in funding debt financing. Along with the demand for debt financing in future period, study also develops a strategy for debt finance for VINACOMIN by using TOWS matrix and get some recommendations to help VINACOMIN to increase the debt financing to ensure its sustainable developments.
