Abstract | Rinki Vietnam Co., Ltd (Rinki) is a Vietnamese private company, which is operating in production water cooling tower and trading elevators. Established in 2004 with experience of three years of operation, Rinki is developing rapidly in both of its business with an average growth rate 40%/year in term of revenue. The elevator business brings a significant contribution for growing and turnover for Rinki Company while cooling tower business contributes fewer turnovers but it gains a high rate of benefits. Cooling tower business includes production in company’s factory and distribution through its sale channels. This business has grown fast recently with high average growth rate of 100% in 2006 in terms of revenue and respected as a sustainable and potential business in next coming years. With Vietnamese economic development rapidly as well as developing industrialization, cooling tower sector gives Rinki great opportunities but also threats. It requires a new appropriate development strategy for cooling tower business of Rinki in long term in order to make this business viable and grow. Based on the analysis of the external and internal environment together with the determination of the strengths and weaknesses, the study developed the most appropriate development strategy for cooling tower business. Finally, recommendations are provided so that Rinki is able to implement the proposed strategy. |
