AbstractThe emergence of new technologies has a great impact in the field of communications. The growing needs and advancements in the field of web technologies have made the communication easier, faster and reliable. One of the new communication frameworks is the WebRTC. The capability to perform interactive video is possible through our web browsers where we can set up a phone call without the need of any additional plug-ins; thanks to WebRTC. With WebRTC, the connected devices/gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets, personal computers, Laptops and the emerging wearable technologies can trade the multimedia such as video, audio, or real time data coherently amongst each other over a common platform. Most of these devices that we use on a daily basis are connected to the Internet. There is a humongous expectation of the users from WebRTC as it imports a great innovation to the clients along with paving a way to imaginative adoptions in the communications. As encouraging as WebRTC may be, it accompanies a great deal of worries that cannot be overlooked. The report presents some distinctive aspects of WebRTC such as the identity management by implementing Single Sign On, authentication, along with some concepts for interoperability among diverse domains in web communication.
