| Abstract | This research is carried out investigate the effectiveness of Project Management in the petroleum industry in Vietnam and the Case Company to construct suggestions to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction stages of a petroleum construction project. The research investigates whether the efficiency of project process and stages could be further improved. The strategic suggestions, solutions for setting up an effective implementation and make contract more effectiveness.
This study is based on qualitative methodology, theoretical framework have obtained by literature review of relevant articles, books and researches. The empirical data has got through interviews, surveys, project documents, and experiences of my own. Analysis of the obtained data, findings include the case company and other related projects are feasible to conduct suggestions in implementing project.
The results of this study show that both project process and each stage need to further improvement for effectiveness. It would pay more attention on definition process and specify deeper during project implementation. The enhanced of engineering and procurement stages to get capabilities and capacities for the purposes of establish strategic management in the international environment is also necessarily. According to the findings, the effective application is useful for project management of Turn Key contract in Vietnam’s oil and gas industry. |
