AbstractIn the age of competition Training and Development has been a essential component and plays a significant role in any commercial banks and this sector is a vital part of any country's service industry. The banking sector must train their employees and prepare them for future. The bank provides training depending upon the job requirement as well as considerations of the employees ability to perform. It is recognized that training improves the productivity and effectiveness of employees and the company as a whole. The bank believes that better personnel always add to the total value of the firm. It has been said ," the more skilled the trainer, the better the performance of the taught". The objectives of the research is to examine the relationship between employee motivation and organisational effectiveness. Finds how training of the manpower and motivation practices in the organisation can lead to team work improvement and better efficiencies as to provide some bench mark to the future training programme conducted in bank of Bhutan Ltd.which is one of the oldest commercial bank and also suggest the most appropriate methods of training and to analyse the current situation of training.
