AbstractFemtocell is a Base station with low transmit power which is installed in home and small office to provide mobile service given by operator without using macro base station. In this paper I tried to study and discuss the benefits and what are the problem of deploying femtocell in a macrocell area mainly focus on the tradeoff between energy efficiency and system performance of green LTE femtocell .deploying femtocell can improve the energy efficiency but it come with the price od performance of macrocell. Therefore femtocell solution is green solution but it has some drawbacks .To verify this some steps were taken and results were plotted
