Abstract | Temperature conditioning is to create a desirable temperature in a specific area such as a room in a building. In certain region with steady and appropriate temperature the conditioning is negligible. But in other region such as United State there are cases of sickness and even death cause by the temperature such as heat stroke. Besides health condition, the temperature also affects working condition of machine and is crucial in clean room and Laboratory. Embedded system for temperature conditioner management will be a tool to compromise energy usage and temperature requirement. The objective of this thesis is to create a control system which uses multiple temperature control devices using Fuzzy Logic Control System to save energy. Temperature control devices used in this thesis are an air conditioner, a ventilator fan and heat exchanger fan. The results are compared to using one air conditioner with no control system. Final result shows that the purposed systems can reduce energy consumption by managing multiple devices instead of one. |
