| Abstract | In an effort to enhance competitive capability in bidding and implementing construction projects to comply the strict requirements for the development of Oil and Gas Industry standard in Viet Nam, PTSC Mechanical and Construction Ltd. Company (PTSC M&C) has specialized in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and offshore Installation of turn-key construction projects execution. The major projects which company is implementing to build wellhead platform for the Oil and Gas exploration and production companies operating in Vietnam and the South East Asia region.
In this research, the author, as a technical and operation manager of PTSC M&C, aims to develop the plan for performance improvement in company competitive capability which involves the evaluation of key factors that may impact to new market development and strategy plan.
In this research, the author has applied common business analysis methods SWOT, Porter 5 Forces to look into surrounding business environment of the company. Based on the result of these analyses, this project study clarify the opportunities/threats of the new market as well as the strengths/weaknesses of the company related to market expansion. Then, the research has concluded with a recommended development process for improving competitive capability |
