AbstractWork motivation shall be the problem that exists forever especially when the world is developing day by day. Human beings are never happy and satisfied with what he/she gets. This is the root cause for rising consecutive problems/conflicts between Employer and Employee. The aim of this study is to have a thorough understanding of this kind of special relationship, to find out what are the reasons that have impacted to the staff turnover of the Sung Chang Company in recent year. For those issues, the Company should have the strategy to improve the human resource management, to help the Company become more competitive in the market. The study methodology is a qualitative research and both primary data and secondary data were collected to serve the analysis of the practice and process in Sung Chang Company. After finding the root causes of key personnel leaving the company, this research suggests some basic solutions to reduce the turnover of employees, enhance the system of employee retention. These recommendations help to create the favorable conditions for employee retention factors. These conditions include giving the employees opportunities for career growth, learning, and development, building a competitive salary and benefits system, and implementing an intensive career development program (if possible).
