| Abstract | After 15 years of its operation (2000), Vietnam’s stock market has gone through many of ups and downs. However, stock market has played an important roles in the economy such as creating capital for the national economy, for enterprises, therefore, the Viet Nam Government nowadays has more and more open policy for development of the stock market. It makes enterprises using capital more flexible and more efficient and make business performance more transparency. In order to make the development of the stock market, the securities companies must be the efficient connection between the stock market and the investors.
Petrovietnam securities companies (PSI) is a member of PVcomBank - subsidiaries of Petrovietnam which is one of the leading group that has the great contribution to the development of Viet Nam economy. The demand capital for strategic projects of Petrovietnam, of other companies in the economy in general and in oil and gas sector in particular is huge but PSI business performance is not so good. It is time for PSI to enhance the service in order to survive, having the sustainable development and meet the goals of its operation.
This research to identify the root causes of non competitivenes services of PSI, determine the gaps in current services of PSI with which they can improve. Moreover, the research also recommend appropriate soltutions to improve the services of PSI so that PSI can meet all customers’s need |
