AbstractSubstantial researchers have been conceded in the latest years for the road safety with evocative statistical analysis in Indonesia. Nevertheless there is still being short of analysis to discover how each of the contributory factors together affects the accident. To the extent that the author is aware, there has not been any research about the prediction model of accident for the road in Aceh province. Consequently this research intends to add to this gap and for this reason interpreted the problem of road safety in Aceh province. The poison regression model and identification of hazardous location using rate quality control method incorporating available geometric data, month, exposure etc. the explanatory variable used were Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT), Heavy vehicle (HV) percent, Access, Intersection, curves. Maximum Likelihood method was used with Statistical Package for the social sciences (SPSS) for the estimation parameters. Poison regression models were selected for the accident, death, and serious injury, minor injury with the total explained variation (RD2) 0.034%, 0.019%, 0.009%, 0.049%. For the identification hazardous location in 15 sections that investigated is found to be hazardous location.
