Abstract | Over the past two decades, Vietnam has changed from a poor and backward country to the one of the fastest economic growth countries in the World. Together with the development of the country, the establishment of many industrial parks nationwide has attracted huge amount of foreign investment capital and bought great benefit to the society in term of consumption products, jobs for people and contribution to state budget. Being established in 1994, Amata Vietnam Co., Ltd is one of the earliest Join Venture Company developing and managing industrial parks in Vietnam. With a strategic land location, the company has successfully set up a modern and beautiful industrial park in Dongnai province with comprehensive infrastructures and facilities. Recently, the company has prepared for some new projects with the target of expanding the company’s scale and involving deeply into real estate market in Vietnam. However, it is also facing of many difficulties in term of lacking of quality workforce resulted partially by weakness and incompetent human resource management. This research analyzes the company’s situation with available information and data gathered from various kinds of sources in order to determine the actual problems in the human resource system of the company and made the company uncompetitive. The research also generates several possible solutions to settle those problems and improve the competitiveness of human resource capital for the company to assure that all such potential projects shall be successfully implemented toward the long term and sustainable development of the company in the forthcoming period. |
