Abstract | A proper inventory level is a very important thing to maintain the continuity of operations in every industry. However, inventory investment can be a very expensive and risky action. The direct costs of carrying inventory can impact to profit and tie up much needed finance. Only there is an effective inventory management can support us without over-committing the company’s operation capital. Inventory management is significant achievement as a key element to ensure the competitiveness and more and more to be an important function in every business operation where influence direct to business results of a company. Besides, cash flow is also one of key elements that reflect the company’s performance that delivers the expected output or not. In order for a good cash flow in every business operation, we need to control well these three important factors – inventory, receivables and payables which will lead to an optimum working capital. |
