| Abstract | Project planning is the connection between concept and execution. The planning of capital investment projects is a continuous process, which progress from feasibility studies, to preliminary planning and lastly to detailed planning. The owner's point of view of project planning is effecitive planning and how to achieve it. In this case, the owner have to prepare pre-planning such as decision making for the project, developing feasibility study and planning such as concept design, preliminary design and detail design. As we know the JICA ODA Loan project, consulting service for preparatory survey, project initation and planning, executing and closing phase are a major work for consultant. So DoH ensure the terms of reference for consultant. Following the indication of strengths as well as weakness of the owner's cratical activities in practices, the report presents the owner's cratical activites for effectively planning ODA projects in road sector of Regional Development Project for Poverty Reduction Phase II in Myanmar. In addition, a recommendation for the improvement of pre-planning and planning process will be made effecting process. |
