| Abstract | On time delivery is one of the key success of outdoor furniture manufacturing
companies in the world in general but ScanCom International A/S in specific case here
in this study. To achieve the objective of on time delivery and to satisfy customer’s
need, this study concentrates on the ideas and solutions of improving effectively the
order management in ScanCom International A/S as well as implementing it in
practical. As one of the leading outdoor furniture manufacturing companies in the
world, ScanCom with more than ten thousands furniture containers being shipped out
today, it is very necessary to have a good and effective sales forecast and order
management system. To obtain this ScanCom International A/S needs to focus on
improving human resource, communication, and order management system by using
ERP system in international order center department. By doing this the human resource
will be strengthened and motivated, the communication between international order
center department with relevant departments will be more effective, the order
management system will be significantly improved to a new level by implementing new
sales forecast and order management methodology using the ERP system. |
