| Abstract | Information is one of the most importance resources for the development of every organization. For surviving and growing, corporation should focus on right decision-makingbased on information and analysis. In the mid of 1990s, the rapid development of Information Technology and network infrastructure created an explosion in information. Enterprises found both challenges and opportunities in that fact. It is most important to VICEM group, with one parent company and over thirty subsidiary companies and units spread throughout Vietnam. Thoroughly, timely and exactinformation management of the whole Group is vital factor for success. Reporting is important part of information system. This research analyses the causes of problems in the VICEM reporting process, for example the quality, sufficient and high resource consumption. Based on root causes found, a solution is recommended to improve the system for more effectiveness and professionalism. |
