| Abstract | FPT Information System Company (FIS) - the No.1 IT System Integrator in Vietnam is the main functional business company of FPT Corp. FIS contributes most of the customers and most of the benefits for FPT. In the trend of globalization, FPT and FIS have to change to adapt to a new business environment. FIS has to compete directly with global IT companies who come to Vietnam for new business. It means that FIS will lose their local market if FIS is not strong and competitive enough. FIS should be more competitive and make customers more satisfied with their products and service. FIS will make more profits and grow faster with focus on software and services. The research assesses the current strategy of the company to identify the existing problems, which might hinder the development of the company in the new business environment. Basing on that, the research proposes a suitable model for restructuring the company to adapt to new development strategy. |
