AbstractThis research is an effort to find some methods that will help Baker Hughes Vietnam to enhance its inventory management system. The need of inventory for Baker Hughes is identified and the research also points out the risks from oil and gas industry that may affect Baker Hughes‟ business. Analysis of Baker Hughes inventory system, especially to Baker Hughes Vietnam, will help clarify its weaknesses where improvements are expected. Some theories are applied in this research such as ABC analysis, Economic Quantity Order model, safety stock level, minimum and maximum inventory level etc…to calculate the inventory levels to help managers control inventory more effectively so as to reduce inventory cost. Some recommendations are mentioned for this research development in future.
