AbstractThacmo Hydro Power Joint Stock Company (TMHPC), which was Thacmo Hydropower Plant belong to Electricity of Vietnam, which is a state-owned company. Integration with the general trend of Vietnam in the period joins to WTO, according to the decision of Prime Minister of Social Republic of Vietnam on the equitization of state owned enterprise. TMHPC was established in 2008. In the first stage, the company has encountered many difficulties in the organization and operation issues because the company does not just produce electricity as previous period, they must find investment opportunities for company. However, their employees are only workers and experts in the field of technology, they cannot help the company in other fields such as financial or investment field to make right decisions. The purpose of the research topic is to analyze the current financial situation of the company, external environment to forecast and evaluate the investment opportunities into power project section, making the projects incremental cash flows statement and financial planning to support leaders in making investment decisions. Finally, this research also has the recommendation and conclusion the investment strategy for company in the future.
