AbstractAfter more than 20 years of opening up, and specially, since 07th November 2006, Vietnam has just joined to WTO. This created more favorable investment environment for the foreign investors to come in, so Vietnam is now a developing country and a top investment destination. There are a lot of projects that have been done and implementing. Thus, it makes a big construction market and creates more opportunities for construction companies. Dongnai Civil-Industrial Construction Joint-Stock Company No.1 (CIC-1) is a Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise in Dongnai province. As the name of the company, CIC-1 provides construction services, including civil and industrial construction. Besides, CIC-1 also produces some construction materials, such as: brick, soil, and other services. Among them, construction is the key service of the company. Since 2000, CIC-1 has experienced positive growth. Annual sales of the company have increased year by year. In order to fulfill the targets, the top managers widened the organization by establish many construction teams. However, the company has been facing to some critical problems. The most serious problem is unsuitable organization structure. The top managers can not control the activities of construction teams. Furthermore, the company often lacks construction workers including both of qualified workers and common workers. In order to solve this problem, CIC-1 has to improve Human Resource Management of the company. In this project report, a project planning of restructuring organization structure of construction team will be built for a real condition of CIC-1.
