Abstract | As many other companies, VIMICO is facing a tough difficult human resources. Many qualified staffs have moved to the other company with better working conditions. A shortage of qualified employees has emerged in VIMICO. As a result, the retention of top performance employees is becoming a major concern in VIMICO. Therefore, motivating employees should be one of the most important priorities of VIMICO. Employee motivation plays a key role on Vimico’s human resource management. Yet, little is known about the factors influence on Vimico’s human resource. The objectives of this study is, within Vimico context, to provide an overview of labour force of VIMICO and identify the key factors affecting staff motivation at VIMICO. Based on an understanding of employee motivation and retention theories and practices, the problems were analyzed in my project, hoping to bring something useful to human resource management. |
