Abstract | AIE – Advanced Industry and Education Equipment is a young company of more than three years of operation but is one of pioneers company providing full package solution of 3D technology to Vietnam market. Its vision is to be a gateway of advanced technology where they will operate as a middleman to collect technological requirements of local companies and to bring new advanced technology for a better performance and development. After more than three years of operation in the market, company has obtained some recognized results but these are still low and don’t meet company’s strategic goals and company’s shareholders expectation. Business environment is reviewed with analysis of external environment where there’re both opportunities and threats. A potential market is engaged by favorable policies that Government is creating, that make Vietnam as a hot destination for foreign investors. A potential market also attract more competitors who are strong in experiences and financial capacities will be threats for AIE. As a young and small company, AIE has its weaknesses in terms of experiences, financial resource, human resource. How company can deal its internal and external problems by its strengths to survive and compete with its competitors? A need of a development of strategy which will help company to take market positioning and to develop. This research will help to have an overview of company, its business environment, its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Business environment and SWOT analysis are used for alternatives of strategies. Each activity of the company is reviewed to find the real problem that company is facing and helps to find a solution. A strategy is finally given for company’s competitiveness and development. There’s also some other recommendations for company to consider trying to provide company’s management board to have another view for development and investment choice. |
