Chamber of commerce is not a new concept but not many people know clearly what they are and how they can help the enterprises, especially when globalization and open trading are happening in all around the world. Chambers work as non-profit, non-organization and non-government associations. They have many different missions which are creating the familiar community as the original country, creating the business space where people who has the same concern could work together, helping to connect foreign business with local business, culture promoting and also charity (Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive, 2015) The existing of business chambers not only helps the entrepreneurs know clearly about their invested market or in-planned market, but also bring a huge of business connection between local companies and foreigner companies. Obviously, chamber of commerce could bring a huge of advantages but their benefits are not really achievable. Therefore, the role of chamber of commerce is very translucent. Only a small number of enterprises choose to be part of AusCham. Therefore, this report is a research about the encouraged and retainable reasons to be AusCham Member. Understanding clearly about the right target customer and target market of AusCham Vietnam which helps to create a new approaching project to refresh AusCham operation, to build up and also strengthening AusCham„s network. The result of the research also revealed that there is a big gap between the performance and members‟ expectation about AusCham at the present time. In order to improve the performance and increase the number of members, the author suggests some recommendations by improving some criteria related to benefits, events and customer service.
