Abstract | Since the bullwhip effect becomes more familiar with Supply Chain Management nowadays, its implication in the real life of business is also an important concern. Therefore, in this research, the author tried to deeply dive into real the problem at the manufacturer - BlueScope Steel Viet Nam (BSV). With the evidence of the bullwhip effect existence, the author analyzed the root causes that contributed to the effect as well as the consequences of the effect occurring at BSV. Eventually, he proposed some possible solutions that can be applied for BSV to mitigate the bullwhip effect. That is also a good example for other companies in steel industry if they have the similar supply chain design |
