| Abstract | The research studies on SWOT analysis of Maintenance Department, a functional unit of HA TIEN 1 CEMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY, one of the leading businesses in cement industry in Viet Nam. From the analysis, organizational operation will be reviewed, this helps to improve the organization performance in order to meet business expectation. The research continues to focus on the functional problem analysis of Maintenance Department. The cause and effect concept will be put into practice to find out the root causes of the problems. From that points, the issues of organizational structure and operational aspect are given out as solutions for the problems. With focusing on the mission of functional department, organizational structure’s modification and predictive maintenance strategy will be identified and will be utilized as an implement to handle the current situation. |
