Abstract | The success of construction company is reflected by how organizations implement project management effectively. Construction projects are unique and manageable constraints such as limited time, budget and resources. In order to achieve successful project and company, it is need to implement good organizational management process in the project. The key to improve efficiency of project performance is to apply project management correctly in organization. To find out effective organizational management which affect directly to the success of small and medium construction companies, interviewing to project directors to identify effective organizational management. The question is how organizational management factors effect to the success of companies. This study was based on qualitative research and multiple case study approach in order to robust results of the study. This study was conducted six construction projects in Myanmar to study existing organizational management process. The analysis showed that project management is positively correlated with project performance. It means that the higher we concentrate the main factors, the better the project performance. Project performance criteria in this study are time, cost, quality and customers’ satisfaction. This study discussed not only existing project management process but also recommendation for improving project management process in Myanmar construction projects. |
