Abstract | Fossil resources aren’t endless. The crude oil reserves of VSP’s existing oil fields are run out of after long time exploitation. While waiting for exploration new oil fields, VSP promote providing external services. This strategy allows VSP effectively use its superfluous workforce and facilities. This strategy was being implemented successful both in economic aspect and social aspect. After decade providing external services, the revenue of service activities continuously increase, but it keeps a moderate ratio in total revenue. VSP is looking forward to balance revenue between service activities and crude oil operation by widens supplying service both on scale and kind of services. One of potential targets that VSP wants to conquer is industrial plant inspection. This research analyses the root cause of lacking of English skills of VSP’s inspectors, as well as provide suggestions and recommendations to solve the problem. Knowledge, methods and models that I learnt from iEMBA program are used in this research together with collecting data from necessary and believable sources |
