Abstract | In the competitive environment, performance of construction service consultancy requires high productivity and quality of a project. Many organizations have realized that people in the company are important asset. The company can perform their services well or not it is relied on these creative employees so that it always requires construction companies in general and Archetype Group to have a clear strategy to motivate and retain staff to work for Archetype in a long-term. There are many theory books to describe the performance management of employees and one of them is the Balance Scorecard (BSC). BSC theory is a combination of the performance management and the strategic management in the company. To apply and implement the BSC successfully, the company has to have a good IT system which supports a lot for the communication line, coordination between departments and etc, and basing on that the whole organization will reach the target goal. Via this thesis, the author would like to describe the root causes why Archetype high employee turnover and raises some key issues related to the benefit of staff retention and staff motivation and to apply balanced scorecard techniques in the case of retention and motivation staff in the construction industry. |
