Abstract | Reducing power loss is the prime consideration of Hanoi Power Corporation as well as other units of Vietnam Electricity. From a manager‟s view point, this project analyses factors impacting to power loss of EVN Hanoi‟s grid in order to reduce power loss more effectively. EVN Hanoi‟s power network has characteristics of a distribution power network. Therefore the major targets of this project are the technical loss and the commercial loss, which are the key factors impacting to power loss of EVN Hanoi. By real experiences in operating and managing process of EVN Hanoi‟s power network, the project analyses main reasons causing power loss and brings out initiatives for these matters. It also performs taken actions of EVN Hanoi for reducing power loss, points out limitations and proposes initiatives for them. Through this project, reader will have a more real and visual view about task of reducing power loss for distribution power network. It is useful for EVN Hanoi as well as other Power Corporations who want to effectively carry out the power loss criteria, especially for the distribution network. It is also useful for students, electric engineers who concern about power loss of distribution network in practice. |
