| Abstract | The main objective of the research is to conduct the pre-feasibility study for the apartment for sale project in Thu Thiem New Urban Area. This is the most important urban development in HCMC and Vietnam in general. The concept of development is created based on the successful case of Pudong in Shanghai with the same location features. Therefore the Pudong case will be mentioned in the thesis. The real estate market in HCMC will be covered to give indications about the current status and trend of the market. More information about the detailed plan of Thu Thiem New Urban Area will also be analyzed to understand the vision of this urban development. Dat Xanh Group, the company which is planning to develop the project will be covered to understand the track record for developments and its capability. There will be two research methodologies to be conducted including qualitative (discussed groups) and quantitative (internet) to provide primary and secondary data to the findings of price, apartment types and sizes, facilities, targeted groups of buyers and positioning. |
