AbstractOver the last two decades, in business of offshore oil & gas production in South-East Asia, the offshore wellhead platforms has been rapidly developed for the profile efforts on increasing production efficiency. The majority of the high profile is a center round drilling technologies, and determines economics solutions by performing detailed engineering studies. Several engineering knowledge and technologies are consolidated to build up the oil and gas production efficiency. They can be categorized into three core activities; reservoir engineering, construction engineering and production engineering, in which are continuously developing to achieve more efficiency of oil and gas production profile. Nevertheless, the fundamental of their knowledge and technologies are the same. The mission of this report is to provide a particular introduction guide of the offshore oil and gas processing that is a basic knowledge of production engineering. This report intends specifically to help reader to understand main process design on offshore platform after Christmas tree. The description is biased to the offshore operation. However, the necessary backgrounds are also presented in this report in order to conceive the perspective knowledge involving the oil and gas production. This report is useful for readers who want to acknowledge a better informed about the basic methods, concepts and technology in offshore oil and gas processing. It is also intended for readers not directly working in oil and gas business, but who are providing related support services. Keywords: Process Schematic; Oil Production: Gas Production; Hydrocarbon; Conventional Well; Natural Gas; Condensate; Dehydration Process; Sweetening Process; Production Separator; Process Control System; Enhance Oil Recovery; Heat Exchanger; Compressor
