AbstractEach project has its own characteristic, therefore, a firm can not apply same risk management of this project to other ones, and may lesson learnt be re-used to reduce or avoid risk as much as possible. In order to identify how risk comes and minimize the risk, it is needed for the firm to build up a Risk Management Process or Risk Management Procedure. PTSC Offshore Services Company (POS) is a Vietnamese company to provide all offshore construction works not only in Vietnam but also in the South East Asia. By doing project, POS has been growing up very fast but POS had also spent a lot of time and paid high price for the risk that POS was able to avoid. In this study, the researcher will focus on the project risk management issue in the POS organization and try to make their management system better both practice and efficiency. This is including but not limited to: - Describe the risk practice at POS project - Analyze problems - Develop a new Project risk/opportunity management (PROM) to improve its efficiency on forthcoming projects
