Abstract | STV_CPP (Central Processing Platform – Su Tu Vang Oild Field) is designed to receive and process crude oil, gas and water from all satellite platforms around the area. The dead crude oil will be pumped to FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading Vessel) for sell, the gas will be compressed for using gaslift and export (selling), and the produced water will be treated and disposed to the sea. At the time being, STV_CPP is treating the water being produced by STV_CPP and from WHP-A (Wellhead Platform) of Su Tu Den Oild field (STD field), in which • Produced water from STV_CPP: 15,000 BWPD • Produced water from WHP-A: 15,000 BWPD • STV_CPP system capacity: 65,000 BWPD At present, the produced water to be disposed has to follow the Vietnam regulation which is less than or equal to 40 ppm. In fact, we have to control the quality of water disposal at the level less than 35 ppm. If the quality is higher than the regulation the company will be punished. This research project is, therefore, focus on the establishment of a quality control program related to the above issue. |
