Great change has taken place in Vietnam during the recent decade and the change is still going on. The textile and garment industry, as one of fastest developed industries in Vietnam, has made much progress in the past. In the drive for export, the United States of America is becoming increasingly important in the market expansion strategy of Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises. To enter successfully in the U.S. market, the Vietnamese firms should consider different entry alternatives and each strategic option should be weighted in te1m of its advantages and disadvantages. This research study attempts to define the necessary steps that potential Vietnamese companies should be prepared to enter the U.S. market. |
