Abstract | Almost 3 years, the country which give birth to a "Tomyumkung Disease" gives big lesson to two groups of people. The first group is strategic follower. Another group is the paper spinner who loves to see diversify of bond price. This national economic disaster was not destroy only these two groups, but almost also destroy the important basis of production culture, trade and investment cover all top-down structure. Last fall, the general idea was that Thailand economy would go through a deep slow down, linked to the other countries in Asia crisis. Then SMEs is the most important base for developing investment of country. Some corporations have invested in the poor areas, but the others are sitting on the sidelines. To recovery is to build bipartisan support for passage of the new markets initiative, which will make it more attractive for people to invest in the different areas. The objective of this research is to study the policy of Board of Investment (BOI) on supporting SMEs and study managing business of SMEs. And finally studying and learning from BOI experience, its ongoing policies, programs or projects in supporting SMEs sector. Results indicate that Board of Investment is intensely supporting SMEs by setting up many programs and support organizations to assist all the schemes of SMEs. Board of Investment has also created many investment promotion to strengthen SMEs growth and competitiveness. |
