Abstract | Chat-bot technology is gaining immense popularity in the field of computer science. Multiple approaches have been taken to build chat-bots that have conversations close enough to humans. Natural Language Processing , AIML technology and the use of databases are the approaches explained in this research. Various features of the technologies along with their algorithms are explained. After careful comparative analysis of the same , It is important to note that each of the approaches have their own upsides and downsides when it comes to chat-bot building. The research concludes by saying AIML makes it easy to build, but on the other hand, when databases integrate with other technologies, they have the power to build powerful chat-bots. On finding the decision of which technology to use, AIML technology was finalized and was used to build AIT’s own Intelligent personal Assistant. |
